Hi, I’m Tom Whitewood, a video editor and filmmaker based in Coventry, UK, with a growing focus on sports content and short-form creative work. Over the last five years I’ve built experience across editing, camera work and visual design, working on everything from cinematic short films to football graphics, social-style edits and experimental visuals.

 

I recently spent a year abroad at California State University, Long Beach, where I developed my technical and creative skills across a range of production projects. Back at Coventry University I’ve continued to expand my film production work through stylised narrative pieces, promo content, colour grading and fast-paced short-form edits.

 

I’m now moving my work more towards sports media and modern digital content. I enjoy creating clean and energetic visuals with strong pacing and a modern feel, whether that’s a matchday poster, a TikTok-style edit or a cinematic sequence for a short film.
