Building on my success at school with GCSE Graphic Design, I joined the computer games art course at Warwickshire College then, after a year, I moved on to the Film Production course.

I have a passion for film and very motivated to succeed I this field. At the time of writing this I've successfully made a number of short films that have been assessed as part of my coursework. I have had great feedback on all of the work so far and now I'm looking forward to hearing my results and moving on to the next part of my education.  I enjoy collaborating with other people and love the moment when the team finds the way to share each others skills and abilities to make the project happen.

During this course I've developed skills in writing scripts, storyboarding, pre-production activities including making my own equipment, filming, editing and post production. I have specific skills in editing software Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop.

The conventional A level route wasn't for me as I know which learning styles best suit me. Art and Graphic Design GCSE started my creative journey and since being involved in a practical based course I've developed a love of learning that I didn't have when I was studying for my other GCSEs. I really enjoy the collaborative team aspect of film making as I'm an easy going person but I do aspire to get the best outcome for any project I'm involved in. I also enjoy the solo aspects of the work such as editing, colouring or the technical set-up of camera kit and lenses. I really love applying the new skills I'm developing when I'm on the team based projects we are tasked with during my studies.

I am now studying BA Film Production at Coventry University. You can view the work I have made over the past two years of my studies on this website.
